Ansur Ahmed is the Chief Compliance Officer at Altera and is on the Investment Strategies team. In addition to this, he also focuses on a variety of strategic initiatives across each of the Firm’s business divisions. 

Ansur began his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York where he worked in the Global Natural Resources Group focusing on M&A, IPO, restructuring, and client advisory transactions. After spending time at Goldman, Ansur served as Vice President at RAM Hotels, a hospitality development company in Columbus, GA. At RAM, Ansur performed various financial roles including leading asset acquisitions and dispositions, sourcing and refinancing debt, and fostering relationships with new equity capital.

Ansur graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia.
